As a concise, confidential profile — the Business without the name. You see Sector, size, financial shape, and the Owner's Objective, with figures labeled confirmed or to-be-validated. Identity is shared only after the Owner approves, because Confidentiality runs in both directions — theirs and yours.

What does "qualified" mean at EdgeMark?

It means the Opportunity has cleared the 8-Point Qualification: verified Owner intent, a defined path — Sell, Share, or Keep — honest figures, and a read against your stated criteria. The 8 Points exist so that what reaches your desk is a decision to make, not a lead to chase down and validate yourself.

What size and kind of Businesses do you source?

Small and Mid-Sized Businesses with $1M to $50M in annual Revenue — the Lower to Middle Market. Is EdgeMark a broker-dealer or an M&A firm?

Neither. EdgeMark operates strictly as a finder and deal origination intermediary. We do not negotiate terms, advise on securities or deal structure, or handle funds — every Transaction is negotiated directly between you and the Owner, each side represented by its own advisors. The clean lane is deliberate.

What if two Partners want the same Opportunity?

Each Opportunity is matched to the desk whose criteria fit best — matching is the product, not distribution. Where genuine overlap exists, how it is prioritized is part of the direct conversation between us, and you will always know where you stand before you invest an hour of your team's time.

How is compensation structured?

Performance-based, with no retainer, no minimum, and nothing to subscribe to. Partners compensate EdgeMark — Business Owners never pay, which keeps Owner intent honest. The specific structure is part of the direct conversation, not a rate card, and it is settled before the first profile reaches you.

How do you verify the figures?

Honestly and transparently. Financials arrive labeled confirmed or to-be-validated — we never dress up a number to make a profile move. What still needs verification in diligence is flagged before you commit time, so your team starts with an accurate map of what is known and what remains to be proven.

Is there a volume commitment or an exclusive?

No. There is no volume commitment and no obligation to engage on any profile you receive. You define the criteria; we bring only what clears them. If nothing fits your desk for a quarter, then nothing arrives — flow that exists to justify itself is exactly the noise this model was built to remove.

How is Confidentiality handled?

By default, and in both directions. Owners stay anonymous until they consent to be named; your interest and your criteria stay between us as well. Nothing is blasted, listed, or shopped — a profile goes to the matched desk and nowhere else, which is why Owners agree to the conversation at all.
